What you do

Before the session: coordinate venue and timing, help with promotion (sign-ups run on the platform — no forms for you to build), prepare the room from the kit list

After the session: collect projects, pull the data (the platform does it), gather photos for social media, do a short retrospective — then run the next one

What we look for

Believe in the mission: helping ordinary people make their first real thing with an agent
Can host an offline session for 8+ people (you have a venue or a community)
One weekend per round plus prep time; 18 or older
No programming background required — the kit and the agent cover the technical parts

What you do

Turn the agent workshop curriculum into reusable tutorials and example projects
Iterate teaching content, cases and exercises together with the curriculum team
Make teaching quality repeatable across every session

What we look for

Programming and writing skills — you can explain technology to non-programmers
Experience with agent coding tools is a plus
Roughly 5-10 hours per course unit

3CoachCoach

What you do

Hands-on teaching support on site: roam the room, answer questions, help participants through the build
Look around, unblock people — participants self-learn; coaches do not lecture
Work with the moderator to protect the experience of each session

What we look for

Have used agent coding tools and can unblock the usual on-site snags
Willing to run alongside participants and learn by teaching; no teaching experience needed

Before you apply, what you probably want to ask

Everyone asks

Does it cost anything?

No. Volunteers contribute no money and take no cut: the registration deposit (87 yuan, refunded on attendance) runs entirely on the platform, so you handle organisation, not money. Venues are mostly free partnerships and never come out of your budget.

How is my resume used?

It goes into your volunteer resume profile: reusable for this and later cohorts without re-uploading, and editable at any time. Only the recruitment team can see it, under PIPL, and never for anything beyond recruitment.

How many roles can I apply for in one cohort?

One. You pick a single role from the available ones per cohort; you can apply for a different role in the next cohort.

Can I take on more than one role?

Yes. You apply for one role per cohort, but roles are not exclusive once you are in — a tutor can coach offline sessions too, depending on sessions and tasks.

Event Moderator

Do I need a programming background?

No. The curriculum kit and the agent's adaptive learning carry the technical parts — the best preparation is to take part in a session yourself first.

Who sorts out the venue?

We aim for free partner venues: community spaces, company meeting rooms, university classrooms. For café sessions, participants support the venue by spending on site (one coffee covers it; no separate venue fee). You choose and coordinate the place.

How many people per session? I have limited time.

Eight people is enough to run one (2³), 32 fills it (2⁵). Start with one session per round and scale once it runs smoothly.

Coach

Do I have to teach?

No. Participants mostly self-learn with the agent, while coaches roam the room, answer questions and help people through the build — look around, unblock a few people, that is the job.

How do coaches and moderators work together?

The moderator owns the session organisation; the coach owns the in-room experience. You can coach only, or do both roles across different sessions.

Tutor

How much time does a course take?

Roughly 5-10 hours per course unit, counted by course rather than fixed weekly hours.

How do we collaborate?

Remotely and asynchronously with the curriculum team, from any city; the tutorials you write get reused by sessions nationwide.
