CODING GIRLS CLUB · 10TH ANNIVERSARY CAMPAIGN

Hacker Start 1024

So ordinary people build something that actually runs — with an agent, hands on, for the first time

1,024 workshops nationwide (210)kicks off 24 Oct 2026 (20)First batch of 32 sessions (25)

Founded in 2016, so this is year 10 — which makes it 210 = 1,024 workshops.

Why nowThe moment

Agents are past the capability tipping point. What's missing is ordinary people daring to start.

Agent coding can already do real work; the bottleneck is whether ordinary people dare to start, and whether anyone is alongside them the first time. Every AI coding product out there draws its natural traffic from developers, and nobody has built a path for a beginner's first attempt. Hacker Start 1024 is that path: three hours a session · classes of 8 to 32 · an agent that adapts as you learn · an 87 yuan deposit, refunded when you turn up — turning "my first working build" into something we can actually deliver.

FAQBefore you ask

What first-timers usually want to know

I've never written a line of code. Can I still join?

Yes. This session is built for first-timers: three hours, an agent alongside you the whole way, no programming background needed. You leave with something you made yourself that actually runs.

How does the 87 yuan deposit work?

You pay an 87 yuan deposit when you register, and it's refunded in full when you turn up. No-shows don't get it back — seats are limited, and the deposit is how we keep them for people who really come.

Do I need to bring a laptop?

A laptop is recommended — the session is hands-on. Device requirements for a particular session are listed on its registration page.

Is there an age limit?

Yes — participants must be 18 or over.

How do I know if there's a session in my city?

Sessions open city by city from 24 Oct 2026, rolling out across 40+ cities. Head to the initiatives page for the full list — every session open for registration shows up there.
